I wanted to combine my love of making purses with my new skill of knitting... so I knitted a rectangle out of Pattons wool with no pattern...it looked kinda wide, but I thought it would shrink evenly--WRONG!!! It shrank lengthwise, but not in width!! What a goofy looking purse it was!

So, I cut it down, folded over a flap, embroidered the edges, sewed on a vintage button and put in silky lining and --voila--a felted clutch size purse!!!

I made it for our wonderful mod kittykill...shhhh--don't tell her I sent her a goof that I saved!! ha ha

I actually saw your bag in person at a crafty get-together last weekend - it looks fantastic!  Nice save!

how cool is that!!! I am so glad that kittykill is actually using it, ha ha!!

I am working on a similar one for myself--dang--I never keep anything I make and hubby gets so upset--he really liked this one!

Thanks!
