Quilt Challenge #1- Mini Día de los Muertos

This is my first mini quilt, my first posted project and my first challenge.  I got the idea from a larger quilt my hubby wants me to make for him that I saw in a quilting mag.

 The size of this is 12"X 11 1/2"

I ordered this fabric online awhile back, it looks like it is out of stock but they do have some that looks similer.

Thanks.  No, I didnt paper piece it but it could have been done that way I guess.  I had a pattern out of a book.
