For the past few weeks I have been wanting a new purse because the thick, heavy one I made during the winter was too much for 100 degree weather this summer in Florida! I happened to have some adorable bird fabric that I found in a remnant bin somewhere and have been saving it since December for some fantastic project.... So tah-dah! My new purse:

I like purses that go across the chest, so the strap is really long, however, because I am indecisive at times, I engineered a nifty loop/knot system so that I can tie off the strap however long I want it:

The inside has a zipper, for those clumsy moments when I wind up with an upside-down purse (it happens way too much...)

And the big, bag with owls all over was my winter purse:

It was even reversible, so I could have a little more maturity if necessary on a give day. Smiley

That one also had super long straps because I used them to tie the bag down to the rack on the back of my bike for riding to and from school/work. It was great Smiley

Thanks for looking!

LOVE the cordouroy/owl purse  Cheesy and I would swear the bird purse is the exact same design as one of my reusable Joann's tote bags!
