The below were gifts for a friend; both are characters from www.sjgames.com/in-nomine. (Laurence, Malakite Archangel of the Sword, and Lilith, Demon Princess of Freedom.) Designs were a blend of how In Nomine describes the characters and how my friend views them, with clothing made up by me. All patterns original.

Malakim traditionally have black wings and wear least four chains; I only did two because felt chains are hard. The outfit was inspired by a Japanese boys' school uniform, though people think it looks like a priest's outfit -- which isn't a bad thing; Laurence is very Catholic. Smiley There's a teeny sword in a scabbard attached to one of the Oath-chains at his hip; a velcro dot is on the hilt and on the black glove so he can hold the sword if my friend wants. I think next time I won't stuff the "tabs" on the wings, but it seemed to work well this time. Wings are also velcroed on.

Lilith, in the game, is associated heavily with green; thus the color-choice. The design on her coat is supposed to be a heart with a hook in it, which is a symbol associated with her. She usually wears a lot of gems, but it's hard to do gems in felt, so I went for gold bands instead -- and yes, they're supposed to look vaguely like shackles. The skintone and hair color ("black with red highlights") were from my friend; the braiding idea was mine. And tricky, but I like how it came out. Smiley

Edited to fix code.

Edited again to fix image host. Sad

Try clearing your cache? I messed up the code originally, but it should be working now.

Edit: Apparently that image host just hates me. Swapped hosts; now they should work.

Whew, glad they're working now. And thank you very much! Smiley They didn't take too long, because I've made something like fifteen dolls off this pattern, so it goes pretty quickly. Figuring out the hair and clothing was the hardest part, really. I'm glad you like them! Cheesy
