So, here goes first post!

*modified to add image*

I made these little fishy wallets for christmas, thanks to the great tutorial put up by Yatta at    http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=40505.90. I made just a couple of modifications to the tute, adding a zipper pocket and making the card slots a little bigger.

Not only completely adorable, but extremely well made!!!!  Did you transfer the image or is it applique or is it a silkscreen?

Oh, and I peeked at your other bag photos.  I love the shape and design of your triangle purse!  The wooden beads are super cute and the lining is yummy.  Is that leather and suede?  Very well done.

Keep sharing!!!!

What a great job you did on this wallet!  Looks very professional and I especially love the applique stitch you used around the edges of the wallet...that's a great idea for finishing it off.   Cheesy

wow, thanks everyone for the lovely comments.

The wallet is made from white vinyl, with the fish appliqud on to this. I then put a layer of this clear vinyl over the top to protect it and make it waterproof.

I haven't worked with vinyl much, and wasn't sure how best to finish the edges. I messed around using a bias binding first but wasn't too impressed with the look. In the end I just overlocked (serged) round the edges and left it with that!

I agree with everyone here, and the orange lining is perfect. Good job!
