would anyone be interested in starting a craft night or is there a craft night in charleston?  even if it's once a month, it would be great to get together and learn some new things or just make crafts with other people and hang out.  i haven't thought about the particulars yet, but i think it could be fun.  let me know what you all think and maybe we could get something going.

I think this would be awesome, but I never seem to make it to these 'cause they're too far away (it's rough for me to drive at night, to be honest). Let me know if you figure out anymore, I'd love to work out the details with you. Smiley

P.S. I know there's a quilting group in s'ville and a knit/crochet group that meets in West Ashley, I don't know the details but I might be able to find out contact info for you. Smiley

I know one location of the County Library holds a knitting circle on Mondays at 6:30, i believe... if you'd be interested, you might wanna check the branch near you and see if it's there too. Probably bring a friend too.

If this thread is still "active" I 'd love to do something like this!  I really want to learn to smock and have tried knitting.  Tried to teach myself both- neither went particularly well!
