I'm in Canada!  I'm willing to swap in or out of the country.  And, yes, it's true, it's often cheaper to ship to the States than across Canada... just a little more nerve wracking since there's no tracking number.  But I haven't had a package get lost yet!  (fingers crossed, as I have one still en route!)

We've got a pretty good-sized group for the swap already.  Fun fun!  I have found that it is alot less expensive for me to send within the States and to Canada than to other countries.  Although, I angeled for a swap recently and the recipient was in Canada.  I was able to ship UPS for less than what I spent to send a swap package to Michigan.  I guess because the package weighed less.

I *really* hope there will be a round two. I'd love to join but I'm trying to go ahead and wrap up a couple WIPs before I commit myself to anything else. Sad

The last swap I was in, my partner was in Finland!  My package cost $32.00 to send.  It was a good thing she was such a great swap partner, or I would have been really bummed.

wow -- that's some pretty pricy shipping!

as for the phrasing of the shipping question, I did some nosing around.  This has beena  topic of conversation on the swap discussion thread, but it didn't seem to have gone anywhere, so I stepped up to the plate and PM'd Leah to see if she would perhaps change it.
