hey ladies and gents!
i haven't posted anything i've made in a while but well yesterday i had a little spree of inspiration and i made this tank top. after thinking i did an amazing job, when i tried it on it was tight and well not only can you see my bra but you can see boobage (minimal boobage might i add) i was wondering if you guys can help me fix this little problem.

the red part is my bra...

so yea i have an idea but i'm not sure how i would go about doing it and it would be pretty hard to do it also. and also i really don't want to take it apart because i'm pretty much in love with it! so any help would be amazing!!! i might end up just wearing a tank under it because i don't really want to touch it and ruin it.

thanks for the help! and i'd love to know what you think of the tank itself!

That tank is adorable!  What I would do, is make 2 more circular 'cups' (like same shape as your bra, just bigger, to cover it) and sew those in on each side, or just do another scoop neckline (same as the purple) but with the  gray maybe?
great job, though, very cute!

OriginalYouth - that circular cup thing was exactly what i was thinking! i'm just not sure how i would attach it. i was thinking maybe making it really big and so i can attach it to the same part as the purple and then have it peekaboo from behind it. does that make sense? and the other suggestion is really good too! thanks again for the help!

Yeah, I would do that, or make it one big piece, like the top of a heart?  Hope it works!  It's cute!  It's a high of 24 degrees here today, so I can't think about tank tops!  Smiley

it's very cute as is, I think I'd wear it over another tank or with a swimsuit instead if trying to fix it.

I didn't read the other posts fo if this has already been suggested then sorry...

I thought at first glance that the bra was part of the top. In person that may not be, but I suggest that it would be acceptable to wear that way, but that's just me...

If you are truly not confortable with that other options would include wearing a bra that covers more, ie: more cup coverage. Perhaps lace would look good, wearing another tank underneath that compliments colorwise...

It should be pretty easy to add a piece at the top of the cups in that tank to make it cover more if you absolutely think you have to...

Try on as you go next time Wink Most of us have learned that the hard way I bet. I know I have...
