I made a Egyptian shrine/memory matchbox for one of the IYP swaps and I managed to make a little book to fit inside and little bits quite easily, just in one of the tiny matchboxes. There was even room for a little more in it! Buttons, beads, charms...the list is endless!

Hope you don't mind me sharing pics!

Wow!  That little shrine is great.  It really is amazing how much you can fit in a matchbox when you try!

While I've been a swap angel, I haven't officially participated in a swap. This sounds like one that I could handle for my first one! I'm going to start accumulating teeny-tiny items now!

I can't wait!

Oh, I'm totally in!

And if possible, I think more than one partner would be cool (maybe 2 or 3).

Would it be more along the lines of filling it with supplies, like you mentioned Katxena (brads, buttons, etc) or could it also be more shrine-ish like Phizzy's?

I'm hoping to make a combination of the two, a shrine-ish vessel rammed full of buttons and such so that when removed the matchbox is still lovely!

I have several different sizes of matchboxes so I'm definitely going to need specific measurements, or I'll end up cheating.  Cheesy  I have tiny ones up to ones that are about 5 inches long and 2 inches deep.
