Can it be thematically correct but a different pattern?  'Cuz I just got Felted Crochet by Jane Davis, and there is a hook holder in there that I want an excuse to make....

I'll play.
My poor hooks are living in a paper bag. Well, the lucky ones are. The unlucky ones are all over the house or dumped in my sewing box. All together now... arrrrrr....

I might put a little thing in mine for scissors and the darning needle I keep losing. Wait, that's a bag. Maybe not.

I feel chattery tonight.

I won't be joining you on this, but I wanted to give you guys/gals some similar ideas and patterns:

http://hometown.aol.com/crochetalong/hookcaddy.html

http://hometown.aol.com/lffunt/toolkit.html (I've fallen in love with this one, so I might just join you after all. lol.)

I still think the best one is the one lllvllliss.ll3itch posted, but I know I have waaaay more hooks than can fit in it and I figured some of you may have the same dilemma. Can't wait to see what all of you come up with!!

I like to do personal swaps now and again.

I knit, crochet, and make stitch markers.

Just pm me if you wanna swap. Smiley
