at my school, UNBC, there is a P!RG reciprocity shelf and a few months back i grabbed this xL masculine-styled hoodie and loved it (i love hoodies), but it sat in my fabric basket until today when i pulled it out, brought in the shoulder line about, oh, 8 inches (!!) and sewed some pajamashirt fabric in the hood, made the sleeves 3/4, and attached the bird-felt patch i bought in vancouver at the petri dish http://www.thepetridish.ca/index.htm

there's another picture at artificia http://artificia.blogspot.com

The pj fabric in the hood is perfect, what a great idea!

well, the fun part was that i used the "opening" of the pj top. so, i got the red piping, one side has buttons (the other, button holes), and the bottom was already hemmed (bottom of hoodie).

Very cute! I had to stop in to say how much I liked it, and also to say that I live in Williams Lake which is a few hours from PG and that I know people who go to school at UNBC! It's just so rare to see anyone from BC on Craftster that's not from Van. Actually, it's kind of rare to see many Canadians at all here let alone ones from BC. Anyway, sweet hoodie.  Wink
