I made this and got really excited when it came time to add the pompom. I get a lot of comments when I wear it. Lol, "Oh, did someone make that for you?" No, I made it for myself!"



I use 2 yarns, which made my stitches pull kind of funny, giving it that corded look, but I like the overall effect. And I didn't do a crochet finished edge, so it rolls a little at the edges

i just had  to say  'hey baby thats one big pom pom *wink wink*'
 i'm jealous i made a pom pom last night for my daughter but it was woolen and when time came  to tie the knot the wool kept breaking and sadly i had a HUGE hand ful of bitty pieces of yarn Tongue

Horay for huge pompoms! Whats sad is I actually have a hellokitty hat with an even bigger rainbow pompom on top. I love wearing it because it makes me feel like a Trojan warrior!
