It's so clean! How do you do any crafting in there?!

Just joking, I wish mine was that clean, or had that much open space. It's lovely, and it must be very easy to work in.

i'm jealous of your well appointed craft area. ^,^  i know i would reduce such tidiness to a shambles (with the help of our toddler) in no time flat.  i make do with a closet that houses clothing for my husband and myself, as well as washer and dryer and all my craft supplies and is perpetually spilling out into our bedroom. i move my sewing desk from the closet (when not in use) to the bedroom or living room (yay for caster wheels) depending on what video game my husband is playing. i craft nearby him whenever possible, its like spending quality time together since we're in the same room but both totally absorbed in our activities. also he knits while he plays WoW now, so he can turn around and show me what he's working on.

I'm so jealous!! I wish I had a craft room to organize!! LOL!! All my craft supplies are spread out in different areas in the house!! DH is almost done finishing the basement and then I will have craft area to share with the kids. Am I an awful mom to count down the days til one of the kids move out so I can transform a bedroom into a craft room?!? LOL!!!

You did a great job.  My craft room was neat once.  That lasted about 2 days.  Now I am the proud owner of no less than 3 "torn edge" scissors because I keep losing them in the mess and finding them later.  What I need to do is make a hutch or a shelf for my desk so that I can get organized too!

Thanks everyone.  It's working pretty well, I can still walk into the room without falling over anything! lol   My table is usually a mess from whatever 2 or 3 things I'm working on at the moment, but at least now I know where everything is!  And, don't tell my DH, but if I never bought more stickers, paper, ephemera, paint........ I would still have enough to last me the rest of my life!!!!!  I never realized how much I had until I put all like things together!

And this is the 1st time I've ever had a space of my own.   Grin
