The white cabinet on the left is what the brown and green cabinet on the right used to look like!  And although the wall looks kind of yellow-greenish on the right side, it's actually the same color of green that is inside the cabinet.

We took the cabinet totally out of the wall and were left staring at a lovely plaster and lathe hole for... umm... a lot longer than it should have taken.  We stripped off the 12 coats of white paint and stained it, but it turns out it wasn't very pretty wood, so it got a fresh coat of chocolate brown paint.  We decided to leave the door off and be minimalists when it came to what to put on the shelves.

The Jack Skellington cameo - that silver knob is one of four and each one is Jack with a different expression on his face!  I tried to get a close up but my picture is not so good:

I'm pretty pleased with it and can't wait to finish up the rest of the bathroom.  It's pretty small and terrible. =)

Thanks for the tip! I just saw the trailer hitch cover over there. I need that! (Not that I have anything with a trailer hitch, but the hubby is thinking about buying a truck.)
