So wouldn't it be nice if the person who started this thread actually posted a project? How about some ornaments in MARCH! It's MARCH people AGGGGGHHHH! Already behind, it's the story of my life. Anyhoo onto the ornaments.

When I started doing this craft-a-long a few years ago, I started the tradition of giving one ornament to every household in my immediate family. Now that I am married that family has expanded - so making ornaments is like working in a small factory.

This pattern is via the genius Hillary Lang of www.weewonderfuls.com and was featured in Cutting Edge Winter 2006.

Twelve little ornaments ready to go!

The three different shapes

Apologies for the grainy photos! Keep craftin!

those are adorable.

I've been christmas crafting every week. unfortunately, all I'm doing is knitting on the endless cabled scarf for my partner that was supposed to be his present *last year*.  got about 2 feet to go... at this rate I should be done by... May...  sigh.

Stoliedina, those ornaments are very cute!

I totally forgot about this Christmas Craft-a-Long. I think I will jump in with this month's craft which is jewelry/bookthongs right?

Any ideas for these crafts?

I'm bumping this thread up, because being a kid, I don't have the money to buy any gifts, so this year, I will have to craft them. I won't be able to do some of the crafts on the list though, because I don't know how, so I'll just switch some of the months around.

So, I'm going to start with bookmarks/book thongs.  Smiley

I'm not exactly following the format, but wanted to say I got one present done!  yay!  the good ole cabled scarf for my partner.  it was supposed to be last year's gift, but yeah, you know.

and I'm hard at work on a hat for my mom's partner now.

So I made a hat for my mom's partner, and then found out he only likes light brown, not dark brown.  So instead it will be for my best friend's fiance's birthday.  oh well.
