I got my package from Odri and it was amazing, she is sooooo talented, and I really lucked out getting her for a swap partner, She sent a fabulous painting of a geisha, it is so well done, two beautiful necklaces, one painted with a geisha and one with cherry blossoms and they are so so pretty, my boyfriend was very impressed when he saw them and the most beautiful note cards, black and white pictures of geishas embellised with coloured paper and coins.

MY digital camera is on the blink so I am hoping Odri took some snaps, otherwise I will borrow one and post some pictures here asap

thanks again Odri for being an incredible swap partner and for organising this swap

Edel

And I soooo totally have swap anxiety now

I took pictures before sending so, here's what I sent to Edel:

Greeting cards (based on the ones on her wists)

A cherry blossom necklace, also from her wists

A geisha necklace

And a painting. I did not make the original drawing, it's from a font called Geisha that I replicated on a canvas and painted in acrylic.

Also, I did not paint the two necklaces, I am not that talented  Wink. The pictures are decals. I was a bit nervous because this was my first swap as an organizer but you guys have been so kind to me, you are all awesome swappers!

No need to be anxious, Dancer4Ever, because I got your package today, and everything is awesome!!

She sent me:

Geisha Paper Hanging (I don't really know what to call it)

Origami Crane and Kimono (so cute!)

Origami Geishas

Lovely earrings (that I'm currently wearing)

Kimono pendant

Geisha pendant (awesome painting skills!)

Everything is so wellmade, I especially love the painted geisha pendant, it's absolutely amazing!

For the pendants I baked two rectangular pieces of polymer clay. I took the smallest of the two pieces and glued a printable decal on it. I covered the piece with like 980380 tons of varnish to protect the picture. I put resin and a lot of superglue between the two pieces to make sure they were really glued together and waited a day for the resin to cure.

THEN

For the cherry blossom one, I just put 2 jumps rings in the holes that I had pierced in the big piece before baking.

For the geisha pendant I assembled all the pieces with hemp and a bit of superglue to make sure the hemp would stay in place.

...I think that's it Smiley.
