Who's in Asheville???

I'm in West Asheville. I'm a very novice sewer, but would love to meet up with like minded people for a beer and a chat if anyone is up for it!

mmm...sewing and beer. two of my favorite things.
when i move up to asheville in april-may, i'd love to attend a pow-wow too!

I'm over here in West Asheville too!  My then-boyfriend/now-husband and I moved to town back in 2000.   I went to UNCA back in the day

I'd be up for a beer too... I'd also like to find/create a knitting group.  I think there's a group that used to (maybe sometimes still does?) meet at the westville pub..   the west end is a nice place to hang out too.  I crochet & sew as well.

I'm an Asheville native-wish I had found you guys this past summer because I just had a son, so no time for crafting in the near future . 

I'm a sewer mostly, but have been getting into crochet and trying to break into knitting.  Has anyone taken any classes from the new Fiber store in the Biltmore Square Mall?  They are really convenient for me, and the owners are really nice.

I currently live about an hour from Asheville, but I'll be moving to Cullowhee in August for graduate school.  Asheville is an awesome city, so very eclectic.  I really enjoy crocheting, sewing, and dabble in cross stitch.

I am new to Craftster.  I have lived in the Asheville area for a little over 8 years now.  I am originally from South Bend, Indiana.  I love it here!  We moved here for the climate, the mountains and because there is so much more to do here.  I live in Fairview and my day job is in Black Mountain.  I make my own handbuilt and sometimes wheelthrown pottery, polymer clay, beading and jewelry, crocheting, and I would love to learn metal clay and knitting.  The yarn shop in Black Mountain has classes- I would love to take a class this winter after work in the evenings.  I am in the Blue Ridge Polymer Clay Guild.  It's a very laid back, fun group of people for anyone interested in polymer clay.
