I dont think there are any Craft Shops left in Southampton now....I am on the Island and there is a cool one in Newport. You'll just have to hop on a boat and come over some time, its only like a tenner on the Fast Cat

I'm from Ferndown, near Bournemouth Tongue

I get my craft supplies from the previously mentioned Hobby Craft centre near Haskins garden centre near Longham/Ferndown. It's a shame there's no nearby bus routes, I have a hard time getting there from a few miles away - it's just outside what I would consider walking distance, and I can't drive (broke student can't afford to learn, I have to rely on my mother). But it is a really massive craft superstore with lots of stuff inside for all sorts of crafts, so you might want to consider driving down one weekend and you'd probably be able to satisfy most of your needs. It's probably about 40-50 minutes from Southampton.

Omg  you have to go to the needlemakers, go downstairs and straight ahead is a room literally crammed full of dresses dating back to the 30's!!!! The guy in there is really nice as well, and lets you haggle!! there is also (to the left of the till, next to the shoes) a chest of draws which have fabulous leather gloves - starting at 6!!!!!!!!!  i get lost in there.... i spent 4 hours in there once. xxx
