I have this one: http://konicaminolta.com/products/consumer/digital_camera/dimage/dimage-xg/index.html It's called Dimage Xg by Konica Minolta. Image quality is excellent; you can take colour, black & white or sepia photos; the zoom is inside the camera and it's super small and light. Mine is red.  Smiley

If you mean, you want a digital SLR with manual operation, there are a few choices out there.  I'm most familar with Canon's line since I shoot with their film cameras.  The digital Rebel is the cheapest model and it's on amazon for $880.00.  It's a 6MP.  (Sadly, I paid over a grand for my Nikon coolpix a couple years back, which isn't a SLR).

Canon recently released the 20D which is their top of the line digital SLR.  It's an 8.2 MP camera and retails for $1,500.  It's what I'm currently lusting over.

I know Nikon also has a dSLR line, but I'm not familar with it.  I suggest checking out http://www.dpreview.com for more info.

Most higher-end and even some less expensive digital cameras will have a fully manual mode so you can control the shutter speed and aperature.

If you meant you wanted a camera that was both digital and accepts film, the only thing I can thing of off the top of my head is the Mamiya 645D which is a medium format camera that has a digital film back.  You don't even want to know how much that is.

A nice 4MP or higher camera that has a manual mode and a preview window should suit you fine for most things.  How much camera you need really depends on what your goals are.

Yay! I finally got one. I ordered it from profeel.com. I paid $218 for a Canon Powershot A400 and some extra junk like a case, battery charger(life saver!), and a 128 MB memory card. It's got 3.2 MP and I love it. It's blue too Cheesy Again, thanks for helping me krazigal!
