wow!  I've never run into people in the same town as me, let alone both places I live!  Tyranny, do you know of any places in ann arbor that sell yarn or other crafty stuff?  (downtown / campus area mostly...  I don't have a car here)

I'm in Michigan, too.  I just moved to Roseville from Grosse Pointe.

I knit, crochet, paint, attempt to sew..  Lately I mostly just think about crafting, because I spend most of my time working at a bookstore.

I live in Roseville too.  I do all sorts of crafts, but mostly I like altering books (and anything else that needs it).  My newest obsession is making Cigar box purses.

I live in Ann Arbor too.  There is a shop in downtown A2 that sells yarn.  I don't know the name of it, but it's in that little arcade full of shops that contains Mezzanine (on Main Street).

I live north of Ann Arbor.

I love to sew.  More specifically quilts and clothes.  I've been trying my hand at knitting but it just doesn't seem to be working.  I dabble in a lot of other crafts as well.

I'm from Ann Arbor, too.

Although, currently I am in Lansing.

Other than the main fabric stores, I haven't been able to find any cool places. Although there is an awesome yarn store in A2.

I knit as well here in SHelby, but lately I have been hit by a sewing bug.  I have been to about every knitting store around Detroit, but I ahve yet to hit anything in A2.  Maybe this summer!  Knitting is not that hard once you find your rhythm!  Keep trying!

I'm originally from Flint! But I live in Rochester Hills.

I am a freelance writer and crafty girl and I'm so excited there is a Michigan forum!

I have a web site: www.isadora-ink.com but I haven't dedicated the time I need to in order to get it off the ground.

There is a cute spinning/knitting shop in Lake Orion for those who were asking.

I live in Flint....don't get to bask in it's orange glow as much as I like, due to a lengthy commute, but I'd love to get together with other crafters - right now I am working out this knitting thang, but am collecting ideas for a burst of crafting activity........... would love to try to set something up!
