This is my first project post so excuse my lame picture quality. The hat is designed by me but inspired by a similar 125 dollar Juicy Couture and the thought that I could make it for 10.

That is cute! I know what you mean about the super expensive knitwear out there. It always makes me so happy when craftsters make something for a fraction of the cost!

almost forgot...I made this with two strands of simply soft on size 9s in k1p2 then switched to size 10s and k1p3  after it was done I knit the brim using the brim instructions from a hat from stitch and bitch nation (so props to that designer for the brim part) and then of course added sweet pompom action!

This hat is sweet! I appreciate the explanation-  I always end up crocheting brims on hats- it's so much easier, but looks way better in knit the way you did it. Thanks for the inspiration- great job!
