Here is a Ribbon sweater I made for my mom.  It took me forever (almost a year) because I got so discouraged with it.  It was impossible to get any sort of guage!  But it did end up looking nice.  I have no clue if it'll fit her, so keep your fingers crossed for me...I'm mailing it soon.

I had help picking out the buttons.  I think they are perfect!

Thanks for looking!

Wow it looks great! I've always wondered how ribbon yarn works and now I know I guess... But I'm glad you kept with it and I'm sure your mom will love it!

Thank you!  She'd better love it!  Ha!  I think it'll look nice on her, hopefully she'll send a pic.

That's an interested yarn choice... but I like it.  Good job and hope your mum loves it and fits her.  Smiley

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

You're so brave (and talented, to boot!).  The only things I'll knit out of ribbon yarn are scarves and shawls.  The sweater looks wondermous and I'm sure your mother will love it.   Smiley

I forgot to mention that this sweater came from a Drops magazine (#81) and I used the recommended yarn, Salsa.

Thanks for the nice comments and the finger crossing!
