3D Rayman Raving Rabbid Plush- UPDATED with SUPER RABBID (lots of pics)

So I got a Wii for my birthday last month, and the bf and I have some other friends that also have a Wii.  There is a game called Rayman Raving Rabbids, and it's got these cute rabbit-looking characters in the game that do all kinds of silly stuff.  Here's a link to a pic of what the rabbids look like:

Anyway, our friend wanted me to create a stuffed rabbid for his wife as a gift.  I developed the pattern completely by myself, and ended up with a 3D rabbid that I am really proud of   He even stands up on his own!  I can't wait to ship this off to our friends on Monday, though I'll be sad to see him go; I've grown really fond of him standing on my computer desk while I sew.











Thanks for looking, and sorry for all the pictures.  I can't help how proud I am of being able to somewhat replicate a cartoon character in 3D form that turned out fairly well - better than I expected

Thanks!!  I just made a Superman costume for him ... be kind because I'm not very good at making clothing for stuff, but... the friend that this is for loves the game where there's a "Super Rabbid" in a Superman costume... hence the costume

The hair piece I wanted to put a single piece of velcro on the underside of it and have it cling to the bunny's "fur" fabric, but it doesn't matter which piece of velcro I use, it doesn't want to hold on to the outer fabric of the bunny, and I don't want to put a piece of velcro on his head.  So right now the hair just sits on top.  Since this is merely a costume for the plain bunny, I'm not too worried - it's going to an adult who will probably have it on display, so if she wants to dress it up like Superman it's probably just going to sit on a shelf, so the hair will be alright... unless someone can help me think of a discreet way to attach the hair without adding anything permanent to the bunny's head!

He stands all by himself mostly due to his weight distribution I guess - think of his feet as tree trunks (that's what I was imagining when I made them) and there's a small piece of cardboard in the very bottom of each foot to help some, too.  He just... stands, lol   The feet are wide enough and attached in a way that serves as two supports to the rest of his body weight and he... erm, just does.  I wish I could explain better.  hehe 

Glad you all like him!  I'm going to make a tiny little box to put his Superman costume in and ship him to our friends plain with his costume packed with him.  If I get a chance to make a little plunger accessory, that'll go along, too

Oh man, I was JUST telling my boyfriend a few days ago (after finishing Rayman) that a Rabbid plush needed to be made!  I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that way.  He looks great!
