Someone in this house has a brand new sweater!

I modified a pattern from the book "Puppyknits" to fit her.  She's skinny and has short fur, so sometimes she gets cold.  She seems to like her new sweater, so yay!

Actually, I didn't notice until you mentioned it, but yeah her eyes look really yellow in the photo.  Usually when I have to take a picture of her I put her against my bright green sheets and her eyes look bright green!  I'd say the real color is green-yellow.  But looking at her now, they definately look more yellow with her sweater on.

ETA : To be totally honest, the reason I did it in orange is I kinda wanted her to look like a Halloween cat all the time   Grin

Believe it or not, she kinda likes wearing clothes and didn't put up much of a hassle when I put this on her!  I had a trial run with an ill-fitting cat-vest, and she really loved it, so this is "cat-clothes" attempt number two.  She's so thin and short-furred, I think she believes she's wearing blankets so she tolerates it really well.  The leash and harness, on the other hand...

Your cat lets you put a sweater on him/her? I've never seen that before! That's awesome. I had to put up a fight with my dog the first few weeks when he was getting adjusted with his sweater.

Very cute cat and awesome knit btw.

Oh my goodness that's adorable, a black cat in an orange sweater I love it.  If i had a cat I would totally dress him/her up, but I have to agree with superstitch, my parent's cat would not "do" a sweater
