So today I go to the front desk of my dorm to pick up my textbooks my mother has sent me...I start pulling out my Criminal justice books, Algebra, english etc...then I see it " The Craftster Guide to Nifty, Thrifty, and Kitschy Crafts " !!! On the inside there was a post-it from my mom. " Honey, I saw this on your wishlist when i ordered your books...I figured you needed a happy surprise. Love you.

That's awesome.  When I was in college, my Mum used to send me kick-ass care packages, with totally random stuff and I always loved it.

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

What a great suprise! I bet she misses you. I do not look forward to the day my babies are off to school. Sad It would melt her heart if you made her something from the book and it might be a cool way for you too keep in touch. Smiley
