I recently moved and had to leave this mosaic behind.  So I thought I would share it with you all.  It took almost a whole weekend to do.  I used liquid nails to adhere the tile, seashells, marbles and broken dishes to the counter.  After that dried I grouted it and sealed it.  It looked great.  Fortunately the girl who bought the home liked my work so at least I know it is appreicated.

I love your mosaic idea!  I've been wanting a new bathroom countertop. Now.... I'm thinking that I'll just tile the old one!
Very creative! Thanks for sharing!

That's really great looking!  Questions: Was your original counter just a regular laminate top?  Any special type glue that you used for the project?

I'm sure your "next" one will be terrific too! Wink

oops, sorry... Strike that second question!  When I re-read your OP "more carefully", I see you mentioned liquid nails to adhere everything! [I was operating on very little sleep!?]
