Thinking of ways to use vintage buttons in an atypical display- came up with these
Cloud - of wool felt, salvaged sweater, free-motion stitching, new beads and lots of buttons for raindrops.

And to balance the rain shower - a sun with button rays and rickrack.  Added a bit of wool roving to the sun face with the embellisher then free-motioned stitched with gold metalic thread.

They hang from monofilament fishing line.

Comments and questions always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Thanks so much for all the kind comments.

SlickMariaVic, haha- oh my, I guess it could be a jelly-fish too.  Good thing it had a title. LOL

roxybadoxy, so appreciate the specifics, it did take some time, thought and playing around to get the shading.  Thanks for finding the nuances.

Sophroworth and missamorphosis,  always happy to find other button lovers and thanks for letting me know you like these. When posting this also found a button bouquet want to try that soon.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=87031.0
