I'm in too!  Well, I will be, as soon as I catch up.  I'm starting to feel better.  I can sit at the computer without having a coughing fit, so that's something, right?

I'll have to think on a journal...

I'm going to go for alphabet and numbers. I love what the artists did with that in the al-pha-bet-i-ca book.

I bookmarked you guys! Smiley  I've never heard of a swap like this before--the ring part. Very cool idea! Does this type of swap happen often on craftster? I can't wait to see what these journals look like!

Here's one that they're doing in the UK. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=123382.0

That's just for signups. They will be done soon, and I am eagerly awaiting their gallery!

So how are you all preparing your journals?  Not decorating, just preparing for other people to work in.  I haven't settled on one yet (I have several candidates here at home), and I was thinking of gluing the pages together, like some people do for altered books, so that each person would have a sturdy work surface.  I can't decide if this is a good idea or not.

I bought a journal with 40 some pages in it. It's watercolor paper, so it's rather thick already, but if someone wanted to glue pages together, there are enough that they could do so.
