presents: peace day, rocket summer, hello kitty zombie, totoro

ok so here's the first bunch of presents from this year that i stenciled

dual purpose stencil!
i made a first version for peace-day at my school
then i made one as a gift for one of my friend's b-days
the sleeve has little pin-wheels b/c at school we set up big peace signs in the grass made out of pin-wheels
it looked so cute from the second floor

a rocket summer shirt for my friend's birthday
she really wanted this one from the website


and since i didn't really like how they did it
i re-made it myself
i had to hand paint the outline of the family,
but the rest is a stencil i made based off of the original shirt



the next one is a birthday present i made for my friend uriel
she loves gore & hello kitty so i mixed to two & got
zombie hello kitty!

the gray part is a pocket
once again i made up the stencil myself,
the black outlines were so annoying =X__x=
i love how the first thing she said when she saw it was
"OMG the BRAINS are coming out!!"



finally is a chanukah present for my best friend
she loves totoro
so you know how it goes
i sort of want to keep it for myself lol

yeah, i used freezer paper as i normally do
but remember to really press down on the edges that you want to stick, not just to pass the iron over the stencil =]

Squeee!! i was/am giggling with delight about that totoro one! 
love 'em all... great job stencilling, they are all so detailed and amazing! how long did they take you (roughly)?
oh, and i think you did a better job with the Rocket Summer one than the original. and this is coming from a person who doesnt even know what Rocket Summer is....
