OK!  Here is the second card that I sent to Pinkygirl:

It's called "Ella's Jazz", and the whole GGD sentence is "Ella croons; jazzy moonlit kisses"

I actually like this one better than the first one I sent her (which got lost).  And Pinkygirl says she really likes it, too.  Smiley

I want to post a pic of that one, too.  I think the picture is on my camera..

Thanks for the nice words, Sewknitter!  Cheesy

I found a scan of the first card I sent to pinkygirl.  I thought I'd share it so it isn't a complete loss.  Smiley

It was called "Hummingbird", and the GGD sentence was "Hummingbird sipping freesian desserts".  (for some reason the pic isn't very good quality. *shrug)
I used a paper I made with dyed shaving cream, and a hand-carved grass stamp.  I still like the other one better.  The funny thing is, though, that the card that pinkygirl sent me had a hummingbird on it also!   Cheesy

Well, I'm not sure if Pinkygirl ever got her ATC from me (I angeled and had to send it twice, so I'm hoping the last one made it!), but I wanted to share it with everyone else since I had fun making it!  Grin

I don't remember the exact title but it was something like "little wooden knitting needles". Used toothpicks, embroidery thread and good ol' garter stitch.

PinkyGirl hasn't received the second card either.

She is disappointed for you as well as herself.

We aren't sure what to do, as sending three times seems kinda hard on you.

I'm thinking of just sending her a card. I have a question, did you put anything else in with the card? I wonder if the thickness got it stuck somewhere? We just don't know why this is happening!

that card is so good I HOPE she gets it!

I think I put some epherma into the first one, a few pages from foreign language books. I can't remember if I did with the second one or not, but I had both weighed at the post office for correct postage and everything...

I can't even remember how long it's been since I mailed the second card (I'm sure the receipt is buried somewhere by now). I know I've heard of overseas cards sometimes taking two months, but that seems a little crazy to me!  Undecided

Did she at least get her other cards? I hope so - I know she was one of the first ones to mail out!

Yes, she got all the other cards.

m not thinking of "weight" and postage as much as wondering if customs stopped it because it had ephemeral material with it.

Like they opened it for security reasons? Life is so uncertain today.
