Nooooo, you're not. I fight that all the time and you overcame it brilliantly.  I may copy you someday.

Me too.  I love that little scroll bit -- well, I love the whole card, but that bit is particularly brilliant!

OOOoooo! The latest cards are so great. the lion eating and she dreams of lace card, great contrast!

I received from TreeTree:

It is so imaginative! I love the whole Queen of Hearts saying, and how she used the ephemera I sent. and all the work posting the long sentence.

THANK YOU!

And some extra ephemera, really cool packets:

I received my wonderful return card from Tristitia today- she only used materials that I sent her (aside from glue and gel pens) but they certainly look a lot better than when I sent them. This is entitled "Countdown to Spring"-

Thank you so very much Jen, I love it!

Wow, some great return ATC's!!

By my count there are still 3 people to receive their first package, 5 need to send their second ATC, 8 HAVE sent their second ATC and 12 people are DONE!!  Take a look at the list on the first post of this thread and make sure its correct (and please correct me if I've missed anything Smiley)

I'll be on vacation for a week from Feb 3-12, hopefully we can get more people finished before I leave!

I received not 1 but 2 great cards from HSG today using the ephemera I sent her:

"Star signs" on the left uses paint chips and a horoscope page from an Arabic women's magazine.
"Lucy" uses a mixture of modern & vintage magazine & newspaper clippings.

Let me know if I missed anything HSG!

I want you to know that I'm dying of jealousy over here!  Both those cards are great.  I particularly like star signs -- all the straight lines and right angles are a brilliant setting for the Arabic lettering.

I received my return card from Rackycoo this morning...I love it!

I just noticed that the gold edge around the outside of the card didn't read on the scanner - it really pulls the whole thing together.

I love what you did with the creepy giant baby head...my husband was really disturbed by it. And I didn't even make the connection between the head and the text in the kiddie book.  Well done.  I hope that you can find some of the stuff useful.

Thank you so much!
