TreeTree you made such a beautiful butterfly card!  I love those colors as well and what a wonderful envelope full of goodies you've sent!

and PJ you scored big time girl! Tristitia sorted your goodies too!  and that card with it's little mini-sister makes me drool!  Lucky girl!

**fingers in ears; waving, tongue stuck out** Nanner-Nanner
I not only got a duplicate of what MoxZ got but I got a gi-normus package from Retro Redux!!

First, here's the 3 ATC's she sent.

Then the next 2 pics of what else she sent.  Let me tell ya', there's some cool a$$ stuff! Wish I could post a giant pic!

When I was taking the pics, I gathered things in groups. I felt like I was organizing an ATC store. "here's the button section, here's the sticker section, etc."

THANKS A TON RETRO!

Wow, there's so much awesome ephemera here...and now I understand how broad that term is, lol.  Thanks everyone that commented on my butterfly atc, it was my first card ever, so the positive comments mean a lot to me...guess I'll be doing more atc swaps.

Ok, here is what Sewknitter sent me...got awhile?

First up the wonderful "antiquities" card:

Here's a grouping of my favs:

Hmmm, wonder if Cara likes the Olive Garden?  Oh and I hope there were a lot of people at the table having coffee, cause that's an awful lot of empty sugar packets.

Thanks everyone that commented on my butterfly atc, it was my first card ever, so the positive comments mean a lot to me...guess I'll be doing more atc swaps.

The butterfly card and the saying are SO ME! You can't tell from the photo, you just have to believe me how great your first card is, and it is mine, MINE, MINE!!! Even the colors are perfect!

Hmmm, wonder if Cara likes the Olive Garden?  Oh and I hope there were a lot of people at the table having coffee, cause that's an awful lot of empty sugar packets.

Okay, My best girlfriend LOVES Olive Garden, I'll take an Asian meal any day before Olive Garden. Only I live with all <normal> people, and they all love Olive Garden. So When my girlfriend came from Maine, where do you think all the NORMAL people in my life decided to go?

GULP!!! I use artificial sweetners, so the pink packet is mine. Well our server decided to give us all a sample of their chianti. It was so tart that my hubby added sugar - a full packet to his and his friends' glass. I added one pink one. So that was 4 packets. And my hubby takes 3 packets for each cup of coffee, and I think he had 4 cups? So you can thank Mark.

I just looked at the packets and thought, "wow! colorful." And their cards had neat grapes. So many things to do with grapes, like "peel me a grape." And all the rich people in old movies ate grapes  when they were acting superior. And well you know, grapes are fun! LOL.

then they had this shiny brochure of italy, how could I resist???

Antiquities card: I put every old god or symbol of mythology from every culture I could find around my favorite old clock just for you.

this was a great swap, and it's not over yet! I get to make & send another ATC with my new stuff! YAY!!!

You put sugar in Chianti!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!  Shocked  Ack!  I won't mention this to my father, that's pretty much his favorite type of wine.  I think "Thou shalt not tamper with good wine" is pretty much an unspoken 11th commandment for Italians, lol.

Oh and I'm glad the card fit your personality so well.  I was like "she like blue she likes blue, god what here is blue?" And then it was just like something was missing after the butterfly, border and sequins and I was like it needs a fortune...didn't fit, needed to be cut.  Doesn't blend in, ribbon to the rescue once again!  I love the atc cards cause it really is more of an organic process.  There's no real plan or process you just go with the flow.

Oh, no, no, no, TreeTree.  You go to far by saying "good wine." LOL

If it had been a GOOD chianti, we wouldn't have tampered with it.

We both like a good chianti, a good merlot, zinfadel. . .
