I like mice too.  It's just that about 10 years ago the area where I live had a very wet winter.  That spring the mice population went through the roof.  They where in everything.  So, we bought humane mouse traps.  It worked at first, but the mice seemed to catch on.  Next we bought the sticky traps.  It was horrible, we felt like we were torturing the mice.  Next, old fashion bait traps.  These worked well at first, but once again the mice seems to catch on.  Lastly poison.  Worked well but is very scary.  Luckily, it was in a industrial park with no pets. For days we kept cleaning out dead mice we would find.  I don't mind a mouse or too, but it was crazy.  I actually think mice are cute.

Oh, there is that great avatar of the rat again!  Love it.
My embroidery pieces, meaning constucted almost entirely of embroidery (no appilque or quilting), are smallish 20" x 20" is close to the max.  It is a easy size to sit in a chair and work on.
The Quilted and applique pieces feel better if they are larger to me.  My largest is 40" x 30".

The Dead Mice is around 15" x 20".  The edges and back are not yet finished.
