Well Tristitia, you will have to thank Rackycoo for the library card and the inspiration (I tried to do my own layout with the library card still showing - hope that it's not too close to what Racky did for me for the ATC & Ephemera Swap).  Here's Rackycoo's gorgeous card:

And how could I resist that card with the perfect title for your theme?
I'm glad you like it.  And I have no idea what that crazy woman on your card is doing either - I kinda wanted to look at how women's health has been controlled by men who blamed everything on our wombs and how their "therapies" were followed blindly for centuries.

Oh, and it was really funny too Grin

AM, Now I can't wait to get my card!  Those are fantastic!

BH, That makes much more sense now!  If she had just had some leaches on her back, I would have gotten the meaning behind it without asking! Hee-hee.

Later,
RM

AM, did you use crackling glaze on the background of that card?

Alteredmommy,  I love your rhino!  Did you crackle the background and then paint him?  Or is it collaged.  I can't get enough of the juxtaposition of the gentle watercolours and the peeling paint...

The rhino was painted seperately, cut out and stuck on the crackled card (I used crackle medium)  I love crackle Smiley  I used to do alot of water colours, but oddly enough only 2 ATC's-both went to Bobolink!

Hi everyone, I'm back from whizzing down mountains with sticks strapped to my feet!  Thank you for the lovely comments about the cards I sent, I really enjoyed making them all!

I'm still catching up with mail, new posts, PMs and emails (in between loading and unloading the washing machine) so it'll be  a little while before I get to the scanner to show photos of the great fairytale cards I received from charliebrown, kaos, Tee and bhean.  So if you have pictures ladies, go ahead and post them!

Yay! I'm so glad my cards made it to some of their destinations safely! And I'm glad you liked your card Tristitia. You're theme was the hardest for me...and then I found this website with all those weird medical things from some book. So I told myself I HAD to figure out a way to use those images! So glad you liked it!

And pinkangel I hope your card got to you in one piece...I was hoping it wouldn't break in the mail!

Nevermind...if you have a better pic, you can post it, AM.  I remembered that I needed to post my whole collection anyway, so I busted out the camera.

Here is AM's card!  It looks so amazing in person!  Even the back is gorgeous!

Then, here they are all together:

Top row-OriginalYouth, SquirrelGirl, AlteredMommy
Bottom row-Rackycoo, Bobolink, Katxena

Then...to see the book I'll be putting them into:

And my entire collection thusfar:

Thanks everyone, for a fantastic swap!
