Just wanted to show the last bag I made
http://www.sushimifune.com/shop/bettiebag/Dsc00021.jpg
I called her Bettie after Bettie Page, because I thought about her when I designed it.
Ok, I'll stop it  Cheesy
I feel like I'm posting too much... Grin
Anyway, I hope you like it

Beautiful!!!  Love the red bow!  Did you sew the bow on the bag?

Great job!  Keep those bags coming!

That's a great bag. I love the 'fur' and the bow. Very classy and glamorous, without being to 'fluffy', lol. You have a great sense of style. I like the lipstick touch, also. Why don't I ever think of that?!...smiling.

I, for one, receive great inspiration from your work and your stuff is a joy to behold. Keep posting your things, please. It makes my day.

Oh, yeah, great button choice. What's the inside like?

Oh, yeah, one more question...Is the base fabric black or navy? Either way, it looks great.

OK, two questions, lol.....who is Bettie Page?

Sushi I enjoy your posts, so please don't feel like you're posting too much! That is a GREAT purse and yeah, I can really see "Betty Page" in the design  Cheesy

arrythmia, Betty was a voluptuous model during the 50s. here's a link: http://www.btinternet.com/%7Ebrmerc/Pinup1.html

Oh, thank you for the compliments  Wink
Some answers...
yes, the red satin ribbon and bow are stitched to the bag
Arrhythmia, the button is a beautiful vintage faceted button that I love
And the fabric is black interfaced cotton.
The inside lining is black satin -It really makes the bag elegant...but I don't know why I found it difficult to take a pic of the inside lining -the black satin seems to "absorbe" the light... Cheesy
I'm glad you like it, I thing this is one of my favorite bag
Oh, Bettie Page... she's the queen of pinups!!! Look here

sushimifune - Thanks for the information. I have seen those faceted buttons and they are wonderful!

Thanks for the Betty Page link. I had never heard of her, and I thought I knew a lot about that era, but I guess I was mostly thinking of old movies.

Keep producing those wonderful bags!! We love 'em!
