Hello. I wanted to share the atc's i made over the long weekend. I had so much fun experimenting with transfers for the first time. ok, now for the pictures and explanations.

This one  is my attempt at re-creating one of Frida's paintings.

This one i call 'heart strings.' The background was made by painting on bubblewrap and using it as a stamp. (An idea i got from a book I was reading in an art store once..forget the title of the book ooops). I photocopied and used the transfer technique for the image of the couple on this card. Found the image from a book at the library containing copyright free clipart.

I call this one 'Grandma's living room' because well..thats what it reminds me of. I posted this before i believe, but I have added to it since.Oh and I have this weird obsession with buttons, which are on this card. Once at value village I scored a huge bag full of vintage buttons for like five bucks.

This card is called 'Autumn Love' its a transfer of an old photo I found at an antique store on top of orange tissue paper.

This one is called 'Hive' , made using transfers, images, ink, and candle wax. fun fun.

ok. thats all for now, i have more in the works but need to wait for some free time. thanks for looking.

I really like the changes you made to "Grandma's living room"  Smiley. I'm going to have to try that bubblewrap background technique. It looks good. They are all great cards!

I haven't done much with image transfers, outside of packing tape ones, but my visual journaling group is going to work on image transfers with photocopies next week, so hopefully I'll be able to more of it then.

hello,
here are some atc's I made this afternoon. They are sort of mixed media style. I used canvas, paint, papers, photocopies of old photos, magazine pictures..really anything I could get my hands on.

This is a group of three cards that I kind of like together as they are all about weddings.

This set of 3 are abstract.

and some random individual cards:
