Unfortunately I am unable to post pics yet of the stuff heather (bigmouth) gave me yesterday, but I'll try soon, hopefully tomorrow.

She made me 3 pouches, one big and 2 small, that are made out of woven measuring tapes, they're so cool.  I had asked for some sort of pouch that I could keep my craft tools in and the large one is perfect!!

I got my package Thursday night. Here's my goodies  Grin :

An amazing hat! It has barely come off since I got it:

A skeleton belt, I love it, it makes me feel all piratey:

A cute little neckwarmer:

This great little pouch, I'm using it at the moment to carry the supplies for my small knitting projects, did you stencil the skull on?:

These great earrings:

And a gourgeous bracelet and earrings:

They even had a sign saying wear me on lol!

A really cute scarf, it's so snuggly, and really well done especially when you consider she's a new knitter!

And last but in no way least, the bag:

It's so well done, I am mega jealous of your sewing skills! I used it for my weekend away this weekend, it was perfect!

I had no idea this package was going to be so big! If it's ok with you la_chrystelle, I'd like to send you a few more items  Smiley

What a beautiful package.  I'm jealous of the sewing skills, too.  I wish I had a machine to work on!  Nice package!

the stash accessory extravaganza ought to make it as an ongoing swap  Smiley I know they changed the rules on them but it would be a brill one for a monthly I think.

If we did this once a month, or every other month, and made the crafting time shorter--like 3 weeks, should we have more than 24 people?  Or just keep it small and intimate?

Actually, I've spent the last 10 minutes thinking about this--I'm thinking every other month.  Like, the next one, we could have sign-ups at the end of March, 3 weeks of crafting, then send outs at the end of April.  Give everyone some time to recoup from this swap.

Give everyone some time to recoup from this swap.
ie: Give everyone time to make their stash ridiculously giant again.

I never realized how big my stash was until I started going through it for this swap.  I've got more crap than anyone could ever do anything with!  I keep trying to use my stash instead of buying new things, but sometimes, I can't help it.  AND I bought 3 new crochet books the other night (one was $2 and one was 75% off), so hopefully, they'll give me some new things to work with.  One is a great hat book, but I know if I make a hat for anyone before I make my husband one, he'll get all pissy.
