Shorty summarized in English: There aren't a lot of craft or knitting stores in the Heidelberg/Mannheim area and it makes me think that there aren't too many crafty people out there. I own a studio-atmosphere in the inner city and am looking for some other crafty ladies or guys to hook up with and have fun with while being creative and exchanging ideas. If anyone is interested, I'd love to hear from you - you can email me at webmaster(at)marked-expression(dot)come or contact me per private message over the forum. I speak both English/German - originally from Bremen/Michigan.

This may not be the most appropriate place to post but....
my friends and I are coming to Heidelberg on the 18th of April (next week! WOO!) for a theater awards thingy. We are coming from England. We want to get tattoos to represent the shows we have done together. Might any of you crafty ladies (or guys) over there know of a good artist/shop? I can't find much on the web. I sooo appreciate any help you could offer!
Thanks in advance!
Shannon

I'm an ex-Heidelbergerin and I know of 3 yarn shops in HD itself, and there are some more around outside. In HD and MA there is a craft shop chain "Idee" or something like that. Another great shop in HD just closed.
As for meetings, I just know the knitting meeting in HD, organized through ravelry.
