Easy & fast Nintendo DS & DS lite socks with link to pattern!

I was gifted a DS lite for Christmas & decided that it needed a cozy to keep it all shiny & pretty.

I was inspired by this DS lite sock:

I really like yours. I like the other one you linked to as well.  I saw the video on knittinghelp.com for button holes, so I can incorporate that as well.

I am making one for my neices when I finish my current scarf.  Unfortunately I do not know how to knit in the round yet (plan on learning soon though), so I will just fold mine over and seam up the sides.

I have a really stupid question, not specifically for worthwhilegirl. When you sew on a button, do you sew it on with your yarn or with thread?

I used yarn for the buttons on these but I have used thread before. It all depends on how big the hole on the buttons are. Some holes would be way to small for yarn of any weight!
