Hi everyone,
I made this purse out of an old sweater for my co-worker.  I am new at sewing but I am pleased with the results.  Comments will be appreciated.

Thank you for looking  Wink

Very cute!  Is the fuzzy stuff yarn?  Did you do anything to make it stiff (the sweater, not the yarn)?  Did you line it?

I've made one bag from a felted sweater and have another to do, that's why I'm super curious, sorry.

I bet your co-worker will love it!

Hi there,
Thank you for the comments.
gaucamolegreetings, the fuzzy yarn is fun fur yarn that I had left over from a project.  I knitted like a long scarf to go around the bag about 5 stitches wide.  To make the bag stiff I just felted the sweater and did put lining.  It closes with Velcro, but my daughter's camera run out of batteries and could not post a picture of the inside of the bag.
Hope it helps.

That is very cute! I really like how you put the fuzzy yarn around the top of the opening. Smiley
