Don't be putting yourself down there, GraceOblivious!  You are my felting mentor!

Asra, I am digging the red flower.

Jane is going to just freak out with all of this beauty and variety!

Oh Snacker, your open lacy flowers are way awesome.  Much cooler than mine.  You do amazing felt work.  Jane is going to be overwhelmed with these.

I'm floored at the beauty going on in here. wowowowowowow! lol.  Cheesy
I can't wait to see them all together too- isn't it exciting?
This is officialy going to be our first collaboration as a group (in a sense-where everything ends up in one place)- and I have been dreaming if this kind of thing for a long time now.  Grin

Deep breath, please remember, not all the flowers may be going to Jane Doe.  Some are just for personal challenge and show.  We sure don't want to pressure anyone to send - facilitating the sending is just a way for those who know Jane (either literally or virtually) to be able to share in a small way in her wedding.

It does seem thought that having a special focus may really  be inspiring for lots of us.  I know I definitely moved beyond my usual style.

Lexis, your enthusiasm and joy is awesome and always puts a nice feeling in my heart and a smile on my face.  Hugs, GraceO

I, for one would like to participate in sending Jane a flower for her wedding.  Please let me know about their colors and style, etc.

Thanks!

hello- finished a bunch of flowers including Jane's.  Smiley Snowing -again!- here on the 'mild' West Coast- so it's a good day to stay inside and get warm with my wool. haha

I loaded about 9 large pics onto my flickr acct. here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tanisalexis/

and a couple o' smaller photos of them for you here:

I have to say the top one is my fave. Gorgeous ivory wensleydale top from the sweet teamwang. xo
Not often enough that I get to play with this kind of colour palette- so it was really surprising and fun. Excuse the felting needle jabbed into the bottom one- it's to keep it from rolling away.  Cheesy

these were fun too. thinking really cool on the groomsmen- lol- as they're mostly browns and burgandy. Smiley well-anyways, I hope you like them.  Kiss
Jane- When I get more pinbacks- I can attach those to the back or- whatever you think you need to do to them before I ship out. let me know.  Wink

Hee-hee.  They kind of remind me of Jane's hair!  Gorgeous flowers!
