Hi everyone.I am in need of some advice.I am trying to make a butterfly purse for a friend. She loooooves butterflys and she's been going through a lot.I'm thinking about x-stitching the butterfly on x-stitch canvas. One on the front and back, then her name on the end panels.Leaving the bottom panel plain. My problem is trying to make the side panels and ends sturdy enough.Any ideas would be most appreciative.I need it to be sturdy enough to stand up on its own but I don't have a clue on how to make it do that. Huh Huh Huh.Thanks for y'alls help. Smiley

Use a heavy duty iron on interfacing for the body and textile board for the base. Depending on the size of the bag you could also use textile board for the sides.
