Ouch! That sounds really painful! D:
Though not nearly as painful, I recently glued my right index finger to my chin with FabriTac. I still don't quite know how I did it! Lol

I've had sewing machine needles break off and hit me in the head, burned myself with hot glue, and jabbed a sewing needle under my thumbnail.
I screamed on that one.

All of these sound so familiar. Except for the screaming bit: I've jabbed myself with needles so much I don't even feel it anymore. It's kinda sad.

I have had so many stupid craft injuries that I've lost count Most of them were silly things like box cutter cuts, pinpricks, jewelry wire poking into my hand, burns from hot glue and picking up a hot pyrography pen by the wrong end (yes, I did that. No, I do not recommend it.) The most awful craft injury I've ever had was related to a dough mixer though.
I was making a chocolate cake, mixing the dough and bending over my pot, when my long hair accidentally fell into the pot and got tangled in the beaters, which were spinning at turbo speed at that time. Miraculously I managed to pull the plug on the device before it actually scraped my head, but the damage was done. When I tried to roll the beaters out of my hair, a lot of my hair (more than 1/4th of it) came along with it, leaving me with a painful and highly conspicuous bald spot.
My hair has long since grown back, but I don't enter the kitchen without it safely tied up anymore!

(My most ironic craft accident was probably when I severely burned my hands on hot glue while trying to fit gemstones in the crown for my Morgoth cosplay. (see profile pic) Anyone who knows a bit about the Silmarillion will know why I was made fun of by all my Tolkien-loving friends for days afterwards)
