I was so stoked this afternoon when I finally finished the second sleeve of my cowl Sweater! But then when I went to piece it together it totally didnt fit. I dont get it.... if I measured myself and measured all along as I knitted how the heck could the sleeves end up being a bit too short and the neck a bit too tight? URHG!!! Maybe I just didnt sew it together the right way!

This is my first sweater by the way. Have any of you other knitters had problems when you went to finish the project. Help!
I may add photos later - It will give you a good laugh.

You just described my worst nightmare. I'm so afraid I'll spend months on a sweater only to discover that it won't fit. Any chance you can try to block it to make it fit better?

Ive been lazy this week, but Im going to block it and try again any day now. The good news is that it probbally only took 2 weeks to knit, and if all else I can donate it to charity. Good times

You know, I think one of the complaints about this sweater pattern is about how much it stretches out after wearing it a few times. Did you use the Lamb's Pride yarn the pattern called for? If so, you might be in luck - it might stretch out on it's own, thanks to the stitch pattern and loose gauge. I seem to remember seeing some discussion about this over in the SnB projects thread section...
