this is the coolest idea ever! i googled tyvek, and you can buy it by the yard here:
http://www.kitebuilder.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/24_162/products_id/666?osCsid=a497efcda7ceca8acd17f084565cce66

so did anyone ever try sealing it with mod podge? did it still run?
there's a construction site by my school, and there's tyvek all over the outside walls. dare i ask? (no one ever seems to be around. i get off school around noon. maybe they're all at lunch, hah)

alsdkjfalskfjfjsld. i'm so excited.

I've seen stuff made out of tyvek envelopes, but this is the most creative I've seen!
ps- I just checked out your website, I love it!

Tyvek is the bomb-diggity! I had shoes made out Tyvek a few years ago. They were awesome. But sadly I out grew them *sniffle* My mom laughed when I told her I ordered 50 Envelopes of the net. One question though, If I lined it for a makeup bag, could you throw it in the washing machine? I am thinking of making them for my friends.....

my guess would be no washing, it melts really easy, not sure exactly how hot washing machines get, definately no dryers.  you could spot clean it with a sponge or something, but i wouldnt recomend washing it in your machine, you wouldnt want to risk it melting and completely ruining your machine and having to buy a new one because of your crafting habits.

oo i love this!! can't wait to try it.

when i asked my mom if I could stop at the post office to get some she pulled out a whole stack of ones that people had sent her. So again, if you're worried about ripping off the post office.. see if you can get some from a local business or something. Free AND recycled. love both those words Wink
