Hey there, everyone.  My name's Christine, and I'm new to this board, but no to reconstructing clothing and crafts and stuff.  I just wanted to show off one of my ideas for displaying pictures.  I call it the BFF Bottle Smiley  All I did was print out some pictures wallet size and tape them to an old wine bottle with packaging tape.  I think I'll put flowers in it and put it on my dining room table.

What do you think?  Any suggestions on how I can improve it?

i would frame each picture with glitter or something like that, add a few other cut-outs from magazines like flowers or shoes, something like that, i'd also most likely use it as a vase. that's such a cute idea.

cheers, <br />xox

I love it  Grin I like the frame idea.

You could also string beads on wire and wrap the top with it or tie a bow with fun ribbon on the top.

You could use like raffia or ribbon and tie one end around the top of the bottle and the other end around a wine bottle cork to go with the theme.

Thats great! For gifts for your friends you could decorate a bottle like that, fill it with some wierd little junk and put a cork in it.

You know, this makes me think -- wonder if you could roll pictures slightly, slip them *inside* the bottle, and then see if they'd unroll, or maybe use something like a chopstick to straighten them out or something.  Then put a cork in the bottle, maybe tie some ribbons or something around the neck, and have "bottled memories".  Smiley  Hmm, may have to go try that.....
