Yeah, overseas is different for customs numbers - I have seen them from Canada, the US and I want to say Australia - I know we have some down under in the group.  I don't remember seeing any customs numbers on packages I have gotten from England but then I didn't know about them until a few months ago.  I offered one up to an organizer for a package as proof that I mailed it - and then found out that you could use it like a dc#.  Not all countries have it.

That was how I learned it could be used like a DC # too at the post office they told me the # was good for nothing really to me at least! Silly post man what did he know!

Nope there isn't one in the UK, or so my post office has informed me.  They looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked for one, before they explained that they didn't have such a thing

That also includes customs numbers for overseas shipping - if you fill out a customs form, you get a customs number -

I've never got. But I'll ask for it next time when I have to fill customs form.

I never have to fill them out, only if it's a huge package.

I mean those green stickers that are for customs, I supposed it's customs form, because it's the only thing I've ever had to fill. The lady in the post office always ask "is there any stuff (items) in?" And when I say yes, she gives me the sticker.

But I don't know why they even ask. Do they think I'd answer "no, I wrote really long letter that weights 428g"?

I received my package from madame xladyluckx, whom I love as much as I love my other swap partners (well, ok, maybe a little more, cause she's been such a great support this past week and a half)

and last, but by far the least ... some amazing 100% wool, feltable, i'm going to make MYSELF things yarn!!

there's noro, 2 different colors of debbie bliss, and the twisted one is Magallanes, all packed in the really cute canvas bag (which I can use for my WIP)

I love you more!! So glad everything made you squeal! You forgot to mention that i got to LISTEN to you open the package! That made it the best part of even sending you the box!! WOO WOO!!! You are the best and deserve every single thing...
