So far so good!  We are officially in the second half of our swapping month and the packages are starting to really come in!

I wanted to remind everyone to pm your recipient - as well as Craftydeb (that's me) and SevsOnlyGirl when you send your packages.  If you think you are going to be late - pm us - keep us in the loop!  You will not be publicly flogged for it - just tell us!

A word on sending - delivery confirmations are really a big thing in swaps.  That also includes customs numbers for overseas shipping - if you fill out a customs form, you get a customs number - and it works just like a delivery confirmation number - you can go to the www.usps.com site and plug that number in and you can follow its progress - next time you ship overseas - check it out for giggles...

So please send us your delivery confirmation or customs numbers!

When you get a package in - don't let your organizers be the last one to know you got a package!  When you get something in - pm your sender as well as Craftydeb (that would still be me) and SevsOnlyGirl.  You can do that all in the same message.  Remember that your sender isn't cleared of her claim until we hear about it - and it really should be firsthand, not in the gallery or by the sender. A lot of our swappers are in the red and just waiting on bated breath for those packages to arrive so they can share their talents again!

We have had a great first half of the swap - I would love to see 100% participation because I am lazy and don't have to ask a mod to clear feedback - so if you haven't claimed yet, start checking out the swap line and see who is up!  I don't know if there has ever been an OWS swap with 100% participation but I would love to see this one hit it!

Have a great rest of the swap and remember - keep your organizers in the loop, pm your senders, and those dc/lc numbers are HUGE!!!

I've never got. But I'll ask for it next time when I have to fill customs form.

I never have to fill them out, only if it's a huge package.

i've been bad about posting what i've received from ongoing swaps!  i hope it's okay that i'm posting in this thread -- i don't remember which round these are from and i figure they'll get the most views this way! 

first is a knit bag from my wists, made by sweetz_love:





it's really soft and mossy yarn with luxuriously silky lining!  i've been using it to hold one of my many knitting projects she also sent some leftover yarn from her stash!  thanks, sweetz_love!! i'm so sorry it took me so long to post a picture.

i also received a recipe binder from my swap angel, amazing.


she was so thoughtful to include vegetarian recipes AND kitties!    she also sent me a cute address book with kitties and pawprints on the cover   thanks again, amazing!

I don't know about anyone else, but I have to fill out a customs form for anything that goes outside of the USA.  I get a copy of the form and the number is right on it.  Maybe it got overlooked?

I received from Miss Mermaid Strikes Back (with help from Dulcinea).  Thanks ladies for the great armwarmers!  The girls at work were jealous!

In the UK, we get a sticker that goes on the parcel with the weight, contents, whether it's a gift, commercial, that kind of thing - you sign & date it & that's it. No number, no copy, bye bye parcel - I hope it gets to wherever it's going okay! *lol*
