i received from Laural! The cutest little stitch markers in the shapes of cats and dragons! The cats are tigers eye, which is also a great stone for creativity!

The other thing she sent was a surprise - toys for my kitties - crocheted balls with bells inside!

Pippin wanted all the balls to herself!

Caught!

Thanks you Laural!

I received a lovely calorimetry from esmerelda. A mix of fuschia and aqua colors-so pretty! I will try to get a photo later as my camera is tempermental and didn't feel like working today. She also sent some scrap pages from a German book, perfect as backgrounds for my travel scrapbook! Thanks so much esmerelda!

In my search for designs - oddly enough for XladyluckX - I came acros this site - it has the poodle, for embroidery machines but I am not sure where gatsbygirl got the others - they are cute... and she may not have used a machine to do them either.  They might be a pretty commonly used design - some artists sell their work to several different people sadly - so you might be able to find it for hand embroidery too..

I did save the free designs that were offered - being a poodle owner, well.  I am a sucker for a poodle.

In a nice piece of cosmic tidiness, ungratefulbiped and I are partnered up in the Apron Swap. I pm-ed her and said that I would be happy to make copies of the patterns, as they are all vintage, and send them along with her apron.

You have to love when things like this work out.

Banga - you  just missed signing up for the Not so Kitschy kitchen swap - and more than half of the people participating wanted to make aprons for people - and a few of them are vintage apron sew-ers!
