I know this isn't too terribly exciting, but I just learned to crochet and I'm happy.  I ran into a few problems, mainly running out of yarn, so I just finished off a rectangle.  I wear it folded over and use a pin to keep it around my neck.

very nice.  i think a triangle is better for warming the neck, cuz it looks like it would fit better under the collar of your coat better

I love that neckwarmer.  The pin is a nice touch, and the whole thing looks very elegant.  I recently made a cravat-style scarf and have been meaning to make a neckwarmer of some kind.  Congrats on learning to crochet!
